Annual Auction & Taste FUNdraiser Set for October 30

Planning has begun for one of the year’s most anticipated events, the Annual Auction & Taste. This exciting event showcases a variety of local eateries to a broad audience of chamber members, civic leaders and residents. This year’s event, scheduled for October 30 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., will feature a Halloween theme with costumes optional.

The Auction & Taste is an exceptional opportunity for restaurant owners to connect with new customers by showing off their special offerings. Each year, the event attracts hundreds of guests who enjoy “tastes” from 20+ food stations.  The fun-filled evening at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel also includes cocktails, entertainment, games, a silent auction, and raffle drawings.

Restaurateurs and caterers must claim their spaces now, as participation is limited and you won’t want to miss out. Each restaurant is provided with a six-foot skirted table to serve small bites of two signature items. Chamber member businesses can be featured in the Taste at no charge; non-members are welcome for an entry fee of $250.

The Chamber provides disposable plates, cutlery, and napkins as needed. To register as a Taste participant, click here.
