Cook County Small Business Source Names Northbrook Chamber a Referral Partner

July 29, 2024

The Chamber has been named a referral partner to help connect businesses with services from the Cook County Small Business Source (“the Source”). This appointment recognizes the NCCI’s ability to expand the Source’s reach in providing no-cost business advising, resources, events/webinars, grants and financing to small businesses.

Since its launch in 2020, the Source has worked with over 67,000 small businesses with a wide variety of services, including $67M in grants distributed to businesses with 20 employees or less in 2020. The Chamber partnered with the Source in 2023 to encourage grant applications; more than 40 small businesses received grant funding through the Chamber’s efforts alone. Membership is not required to get assistance from the Chamber.

You can learn more about Source opportunities in the Business Resources section of the Chamber’s website. We also encourage you to take advantage of upcoming sessions where Chamber staff will answer questions and refer you to helpful County resources for your business needs:

  • Friday, August 2, 9:00 a.m., Mission Hills Club – Following the First Friday Networking Breakfast, stay for a business advising conversation
  • Monday, August 12 – Thursday, August 15, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Chamber office – Meet with Chamber staff to ask your questions about Cook County services. Registration requested.

Watch for more announcements in the Chamber’s Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts about upcoming Source opportunities and programs. Feel free to contact Kathi Quinn, Executive Director, kathi@northbrookchamber.org with any questions about Cook County Small Business Source services.
