Northbrook Looks Ahead with State of the Village Address

Northbrook business owners and residents will learn about upcoming local projects and challenges when Village President Kathryn Ciesla delivers the annual State of the Village Address on January 31. Hosted by the Chamber at the Northbrook Public Library, the event includes a complimentary pre-presentation coffee for members with Village leadership, sponsored by Sunset Foods.

Kathryn Ciesla was elected Village President in 2021, following 12 years as a Trustee during which she chaired the Administration and Finance Committee, the Ad Hoc Labor Relations Committee, and the TIF Joint Review Board. In addition to her duties in local government, she is a partner in the Northfield-based law firm Ciesla Beeler LLC specializing in family law.

Chamber members are invited to the coffee with Village leadership in the Library’s Pollak Room beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, January 31. The State of the Village presentation will begin at 9:00 in the Library’s auditorium. Space is limited and pre-registration is required; visit the Chamber website to RSVP by noon on January 30.
