Chamber Welcomes Intern Andrew Perez
We are delighted to introduce Andrew Perez, who joined the NCCI team as an intern in February. Currently on active duty in the U.S. Army, Andrew will be with us until mid-March developing marketing content, assisting with events, and learning about the role of chambers in serving the business community.
Andrew joined the Army in 2019 and most recently has been stationed in South Korea, using radar equipment to identify and discern aerial information in order to safeguard Korean and U.S. assets. His current internship is made possible through the Department of Defense’s SkillBridge program, which provides mentorship and real-world experience to service members approaching their discharge date.
Andrew has an interest in video production that he hopes to apply to a post-military career in marketing and content creation, as well as real estate. During his time at the Chamber, he will be producing a marketing video that will be featured on northbrookchamber.org.
“Andrew is an energetic, creative person who is making the most of his opportunities with the Chamber,” notes Kathi Quinn, Executive Director. “He has a great interest in entrepreneurship and has made great connections with members already. We appreciate everything he is doing for the Chamber during his internship and are proud to be able to support him as he plans his post-military career.”
