Annual Auction & Taste Celebrates the Best of the Chamber

For Chamber members and other community leaders, the Annual Auction & Taste on October 28 will be a can’t-miss event that combines a diverse collection of restaurant specialties with an array of tempting auction items. Even more important than the food and fun, the event fulfills a vital role as the Chamber’s most important fundraiser. The Chamber’s community initiatives, like the Meal Packing Event and donations to local organizations, are made possible by the proceeds from the Auction & Taste. Fundraising also helps to keep Chamber dues and other fees affordable for all members, large and small.

Given the importance of the event’s success, members consistently choose to step up and show their support. Allstate has graciously continued its commitment as Presenting Sponsor, and Highland Baking once again will sponsor the $1000 raffle grand prize. A wide variety of other participation opportunities are available, making it possible for any member to get involved.

Sponsorships provide direct support for the event and also enhance your public profile. Major and VIP sponsors are recognized in event marketing materials, including print ads in the Northbrook Tower, articles in the Chamber’s newsletter, promotional posters, and other event collateral. The Auction offers several levels of sponsor investment, each including two complimentary tickets to the event. See the Auction flyer included with this newsletter for details.

Auction Donations support the event’s goals and add to the excitement of the evening, and donors are recognized for their generosity. All types of donations valued at $50 or more are welcome. Perennially popular items include:

  • Overnight hotel stays
  • Catered dinner parties
