Chamber Team Re-Brands

Members will undoubtedly notice the Chamber’s bright new look this fall. Our redesigned logo features an invigorating color palette that emphasizes the full name of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The logo was developed by Hannah Jon, a student at Washington University who served as an intern for the Chamber this summer. Hannah’s talents include design experience as an editor of Wash U’s literary magazine, as well as a fresh perspective on the organization’s branding. The development of the logo began with a casual discussion that quickly took off into full implementation.

“It’s been exciting to work on this project from start to finish,” notes Hannah. “I had the opportunity to explore a number of design options, which the staff refined as a team. I also researched the psychological impacts of different colors to create a logo that would be positive and energetic.”

“This new logo captures the energy and vibrancy of our membership in bold, clean colors. We also wanted to emphasize the full name of the Chamber because it reflects the diversity of businesses that make our organization and community thrive.” states Kathi Quinn, Executive Director.

The new logo provides a design starting point for an updated Chamber website, a project that is planned for the coming months. In the meantime, look for the new branding to be prominent in our emails, social media, and publicity for upcoming events.
