With the tail end of winter whetting our appetites for spring, it’s time to start planning the annual Golf Outing and Dinner! The popular day-long event attracts more than 175 business and civic leaders who enjoy 18 holes of golf, skills contests for prizes, lunch, a cocktail reception, and dinner. A Golf Outing sponsorship is a great way for any Chamber member to gain visibility while supporting this important fundraiser.

While these major sponsorships have gotten the ball rolling, there are still Golf Hole sponsorships available. Sponsorships offer many opportunities for recognition including acknowledgements in Northbrook Tower ads, event posters, event programs, the Chamber website, and the Chamber newsletter. Hole sponsors have the option to mix and mingle with the golfers at their hole and can offer up a raffle or fun activity to get the conversation started. Additionally, each sponsorship includes a skills contest on the hole and a $50 gift certificate awarded to the winner at the post-golf Awards Dinner. The Chamber takes care of all the details for the sponsors.
Golf Hole sponsors find the Outing advantageous on several levels. Many enjoy the efficiency of the Outing as well as the social benefits. “I have played and sponsored the event for a number of years,” comments Marty Albert, Albert & Goodman. “It is an outstanding Outing, but more importantly it is a treat to spend the day with the Chamber members, their guests and fellow sponsors.”
“Being a Hole sponsor is a great opportunity to meet other Chamber members in a fun and relaxed environment,” comments Nate Ruben, Ruben Digital. “It gave my team the chance to get to know small groups of players on a more personal level. We enjoyed the beautiful day and even got business as a result as well!”
