Despite living in a digital world, it’s no secret that people like to do business with individuals they know and trust. A great way to market your business face to face, build rapport and earn the trust of prospective customers is by exhibiting at the Chamber’s Business Expo and After Hours. The Expo provides members with an ideal, low cost opportunity to make one-on-one connections with over 400 area business and civic leaders.
Many exhibitors appreciate the opportunity to meet prospects that are outside of their regular circle of contacts. “We exhibit at a lot of trade shows – many targeted towards the health and fitness sector– but we love the variety and broad exposure to new customers that we get at the Chamber’s Expo,” comments Joe Zimmerman, TCBOOST Sports Performance. “We would never get to meet many of these potential customers any other way. We enjoy showing our video and giving people a chance to check out our jump mat and test their skills! We always get a number of new leads at the event.”
Longtime exhibitor Steven Elisco, Elisco Design Architects concurs. “The Expo gives me the opportunity to more fully explain my services and expertise versus what I can describe when I’m at First Friday. The exposure to members who usually do not attend other events is invaluable.”
“I love partnering with the Chamber because the event is always so well organized and well attended,” comments Brenda Wycykal, Maggiano’s.
By limiting the number of exhibitors to 50, it is easy for attendees to stop by and learn about each business. The Chamber offers a fun scavenger hunt to encourage attendees to circulate in the room and check out as many exhibitors as possible.
