Nominations Open for Business Awards
Each year at the Annual Meeting, the Chamber celebrates three outstanding members for their unique accomplishments and contributions. We are now accepting nominations for the awards to be presented in 2022, including the Business of the Year, Corporate Citizen of the Year, and Chamber Volunteer of the Year. Nominations are open until December 31.
“The Annual Business Awards are always a highlight of the year because they honor excellence among us,” notes Tensley Garris. “After the challenges of the last two years, it will be a real pleasure to spotlight the positive accomplishments that our members have achieved.”
Each of the three awards is selected based on specific criteria:
The Business of the Year is honored for significant growth and outstanding customer service. Recent recipients include FGK Services, Inc.; Unique Upholstery, Carpet & Rug Cleaning; and Reds Garden Center.
The Corporate Citizen of the Year recognizes companies that provide exceptional support and outreach to the community through philanthropy and services. Corporate citizens from the last three years include Glenbrook Hospital, AA Service, and Waterway Carwash.
The Chamber Volunteer of the Year honors an individual who has dedicated significant time and energy to support the organization. PJ Weiland, Matt Settler, and Robyn Kole are the three most recent award recipients.
