Pace Updates Threaten Two Local Bus Routes

Pace Updates Threaten Two Local Bus Routes

Pace bus riders will lose access to routes serving Northbrook Court and Glenbrook Hospital, under proposed changes recently announced by the suburban transportation provider. Pace plans to eliminate Route 210, connecting Glenbrook Hospital to the Glenview Metra train station and points south to Lincolnwood, and cut the portion of Route 422 connecting Northbrook Court to the Glenview train station and points east to Wilmette.

Public hearings will be held in February to collect community feedback on the following dates:

  • Monday, February 3, 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Niles-Maine District Library
  • Wednesday, February 5, 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Northbrook Public Library
  • Tuesday, February 11, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Levy Senior Center in Evanston
  • Tuesday, February 18, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Wilmette Public Library.

Written comments may be submitted until February 18 to public.hearings@pacebus.com.  Visit PaceBus.com for more information.
