Village President to Address the Business Community

Village President to Address the Business Community

Prepare for the new year with a comprehensive review of top local issues from Northbrook Village President Kathryn Ciesla as she presents the Annual State of the Village address on January 26. This luncheon event at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel connects the business community and Village leadership for an informative, interactive discussion.

President Ciesla will provide key community updates along with a summary of goals for 2022.  Topics will include current economic trends, infrastructure investments, economic development/retention, potential large-scale developments, partnerships and community events.  She also will discuss the Village’s new Climate Action Plan, with emphasis on how businesses can get involved with new sustainability initiatives. There will be the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.

Prior to her election as Village President in 2021, Ciesla served on the Board of Trustees for 12 years and chaired the Administration and Finance Committee, the Ad Hoc Labor Relations Committee and the TIF Joint Review Board. In addition to her duties in local government, she is a partner in the Northfield-based law firm Ciesla Beeler LLC specializing in family law. She looks forward to this opportunity to personally interact with the business community.
